The country of Belize, formerly a British Colony until 1981 when it gained its independence was also known as British Honduras. It is located on the east coast of Central America on the Caribbean Sea. This English-speaking country shares borders with Mexico to the north, Guatemala west and south and the beautiful Caribbean Sea borders its east coast, with such geographic location no wonder some call it "Nature’s Best Kept Secret".
